tmc becomes a member of the Österreichische Verkehrswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft (ÖGV)

We are pleased to announce that tmc is now a member of the Österreichische Verkehrswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft – ÖVG (Austrian Transportation Science Society) – a renowned network that promotes the exchange between research, politics and practice in the transport sector.

Shaping the future of railway infrastructure together

Our membership will enable us to participate in the dialogue between experts and companies in the future and at the same time provide us with valuable insights into current developments, especially in the areas of digitalisation and the optimisation of maintenance processes. As a specialist in smart sensor and assistance systems, data analysis and AI-supported measurement systems, tmc brings an innovative perspective to these areas in particular. Naturally, a particular focus for us is on the railway technology track working group, in which we want to actively participate in discussions about future-oriented technologies and processes for rail transport.

Why ÖVG?

Our membership of the ÖVG complements our involvement in other initiatives such as the Pro-Rail Alliance – this time with a strong focus on the Austrian market. The opportunity to participate in exclusive events and publications opens up new opportunities for cooperation and knowledge transfer to take an important step forward in our mission to simplify the digitalisation of rail infrastructure.

Austria as a pioneer in the railway sector

Benjamin Stuntner, Head of Product Management & Marketing at tmc, puts it in a nutshell: ‘Innovation arises when knowledge from different areas flows together. The ÖVG offers us a valuable platform for dialogue with experts from science, industry and infrastructure. Together, we are shaping the future of railway maintenance in Austria – and taking new ideas beyond the country’s borders. Austria has the potential to lead the way as a pioneer of digitalisation in the rail sector.

To summarise, we are looking forward to exchanging ideas and working with ÖVG to provide new impetus for a modern and efficient railway infrastructure.
